Charter: Building Interior

Interior Installations

UCP of Central Florida Charter School has a variety of marketing projects that have provided an abundance of design applications. The agency has eight charter locations, each with its unique design requests. It has been my assigned duty to manage and implement all of the interior design needs from concept to overseeing installation, including communicating with vendors to gather quotes and manage invoices. Projects have included mascot branding, historic photo install, staff recognition, and campus decals.

Administration Wings

UCP of Central Florida moved its administrative offices in the summer of 2019. Since then, I had been tasked with incorporating branding, team recognition, and bringing character elements to the hallways.

Wall mural dedicated to team members, board members, and community members who have been involved or worked for UCP of Central Florida for over 20 years. This wall is a growing concept so future team members can be added to the blank bubbles, with additional blanks also to be added with the mural ever expanding. The mural also includes icon elements from other aspects of UCP of Central Florida branding. The project was revealed with a small celebration that invited all those who are recognized on the wall in December of 2021.

UCP of Central Florida’s History wall. This wall is comprised of photos dating back to the original development center in 1955 and includes all of the monumental moments and groundbreakings up to 2021. The wall includes 59 photos and 1 title card with sizes ranging 8x10, 11x14, 16x20 and 18x22. The wall was coordinated by myself and reviewed the the President/CEO and installed by myself and a colleague.

Charter Mascot Branding

Each campus had its original mascots; however, they had varying levels of professionalism, some using clip art.

In 2019 I was tasked with bringing cohesion to the mascot lineup. All but one campus required revamping their mascot. I did this by utilizing the brand colors and typeface by pairing each with a color combo from the branding and using the campus name in the emblem.

Campus Interiors

Each campus was offered to incorporate their branded mascots with a menu of options for their interiors. Some options included a welcome banner, mascot, and the charter logo. These are some examples of the interiors that I coordinated.
