Annual Gala & Poker: Night at the Museum
UCP of Central Florida’s Gala is an annual black-tie fundraising event where sponsorship and auction proceeds support programs and services. UCP’s Casino Royale Poker Tournament is a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament where well-renowned and local celebrities come to participate alongside avid Poker players. These two events are UCP’s largest spring fundraising events, which take place throughout a weekend. The weekend starts with the Poker Tournament on Friday and ends with an Evening Gala on Saturday.
The theme for the 2023 Gala event was “Night at the Museum,” focusing on highlighting classic exhibits like Aerospace, Ancient Egypt, Marine Aquatics, Archeology, and Ancient Greece, and centered the story around them coming to life. My role in these events includes creating all branding assets, visual content for both print and digital platforms, coordinating the photo shoot and editing, creating social media graphics, managing the budget, communicating with vendors regarding printed materials, and overseeing event setup and breakdown. The 2023 fundraising events mark my 7th year of handling visual assets and content management.
