Annual Gala & Poker: UCP’s Saturday Night
UCP of Central Florida’s Gala is an annual fundraising black tie event where sponsorship and auction proceeds assist programs and services. UCP’s Poker at the Palace is a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament where well renowned and local celebrities come to participate alongside avid Poker players. These two events are UCP’s largest Spring Fundraising events that take place over the course of a weekend. The weekend starts with their Poker Tournament and ends with an Evening Gala.
The 2019 Annual Gala had returning special guest Dan Akyroyd and was themed as “UCP’s Saturday Night” based on Saturday Night Live where Dan appeared for a number of seasons. My role for this event at the time was to create all the branding assets, including visual content for both print and digital media, coordinate the photoshoot and editing, social media graphics, budgeting, vendor communication regarding printed materials, and event setup and breakdown.
